The Jones Report Pt. III: Dead Reckoning

After watching the Hannity Show a few weeks ago on Fox News, I now know why a liberals mind works the way it does. I don’t make it a habit of watching Fox News because I still find it skewed, but I do tend to leave it on, usually on mute because I run the feeds on the bottom because, lets face it, every other national news station available to me is no better. Hannity had another focus group on that evening, much like the one I watched a few weeks prior which featured a group of college kids from elite schools ready to step into the real world, not a pretty sight… in my opinion they’re all going to tank. But after the past few weeks of focus groups, I now understand what I believe is the way a liberal works. They’ll say whatever they can to get themselves noticed, and save face, and to be honest, not even to save face, but to get themselves noticed.

That night, I watched a woman, Holly, a liberal, jump up and down because conservatives really aren’t willing to go into Syria. And much to her dismay, many of her liberal friends weren’t willing to either. I watched her sit there and boldly say, “The President of the United States does not need Congress’s permission to go into Syria. ” She instead wants us to bomb the hell out of them. Which in turn really means as a citizen of this country, I’m rolling over on my back and giving you everything I have because I don’t care if what you do gets me killed or makes it worse for years to come and the future generations of my children. I don’t care, I surrender my rights to you, because I can’t make decisions for myself. I then proceeded to watch her at the end of the segment jump up and down because conservatives were saying no amnesty for illegal citizens, deport them, do something, do not give them amnesty or citizenship. She said, “How can any of you be okay with this? Do you not see these people as real, breathing, living things?” She fought tooth and nail, and honestly, everyone laughed at her. My question for you Holly, what the hell is the difference between an illegal immigrant, and a Syrian child? How are they any different? A Syrian child will most definitely get killed if we go in and bomb Damascus, countless thousands of Syrians will be killed as a direct result of OUR military action! Do they not count as living, breathing people too? How is that any different?

Liberals literally make no sense to me, and yet for the first time in so long, I’m seeing something I’ve never seen in my lifetime, Liberals and Conservatives sitting on the same side. And yet, you’ve got young morons like Holly jumping up and down, because she doesn’t know which side of the bed she woke up on. And she’s on TV, with a chance for someone to say her name a million times, so she’s going to say whatever she can, to get a rise. And it’s not even that, she and other liberals say things before they think. Conservatives are conservative, because they tend to think of the bullshit that comes out of their mouth before they speak while liberals bust it out, liberally like jam on toast, and don’t see the sticky end result. It’s pure idiocy. Now trust me, conservatives are no better, they roll over and pussy out just as much. They wait, and wait, and wait, until it’s too late, and are too afraid to take a stand, and God forbid, put their voices out there and be a little “liberal” so to speak, to get their way. They just sit by and don’t fight. That’s the biggest problem with conservatives, they don’t know how to fight for what they want.

That being said, liberals are still some of the biggest flip-flopping, ill-mannered morons out there. It’s the uneducated, the educated who don’t live in the real world, the over-privileged young generation who’s never had to want for anything, and the college students wanting to sound smart. Most of the young generation liberal movement has never paid a dime into the tax system, their parents have provided everything for them, they have a trust fund waiting for them no matter what, or they live so far in the 60’s, they forget there’s even a tax system to pay into. What really grinds my gears the most are the college kids at elite schools who have never worked a day in their lives, live off their parents money while still at college, and don’t pay into the tax system because they don’t have to have a job. They have no idea how harsh the real world is, so they see Obama, and his idealist cult following, as the answer to all our problems. What they don’t realize is he’s nothing more than just an idealist. He possesses no real leadership or managerial qualities and has the power to be the biggest pathological liar I’ve ever come across. Trust me, his ideas, are meant to do good, at some point in time, but not now. We are SUPPOSED to be a democracy, not a Utopian society. It just doesn’t work that way. His ideals may mean well, but people have different needs and wants out of this life, therefore not having options gives the people no way out and makes people angry. World policing when we have enough of our own damn problems, and our own mini-war going on here, so to speak…we need to deal with that first. We have WAR HEROES living on the streets, with nothing but the clothes on their backs and the shoes on their feet, when they so valiantly fought for us, and yet we want to send more out there to come home to that fate most likely? How is that fair? How is that fair to these men and women who fought so hard, so many of them very elderly now, who fought for our freedom before we were even born, can’t even get the aide they need because the government is busy spending OUR TAX DOLLARS, on their vacations and other useless shit, like GMO bills, following their corporate interests rather than the interests of the people. All of this while men and women go unattended to, who fought for OUR LIVES. The GMO bill can go to hell, I’m sorry, genetically modified food is getting a little out of hand, but there are other ways of dealing with it, without making it a freaking priority. Foods have been genetically modified for YEARS now, and I’m still here, my neighbor is still here, and my grandma is still here. Sure, it takes a few years off our lives throughout a humans life, but we’re going to die anyways, and delaying the bill, so we can support the men and women who have risked their lives for us, is a bit more important, than GENETICALLY MODIFIED CORN in my opinion.

America makes me sick. I’m 22 years old, and from the time I was a little girl I’ve been so proud to live in this country and live where I live. Now? It’s hard to be proud. We’re lazy, morally inept, careless, and shameless. The home of the brave and the beautiful died about ten years ago. When did we all become such pussies, afraid to stand up for what we believe, AFRAID to fight for what we believe in? Instead, people roll over daily and wait for the government to give them handouts. How is that a happy life, how is having your rights stripped from you okay? How is it okay that an illegal can come into this country and take your job, get paid less, and you not do a damn thing? How is it that we have one of the most amazing pieces written ever, the United States Constitution, and yet, WE NEVER USE IT, AND LET EVERYONE ABUSE IT. The American Dream died along with my hope for this country…years ago. This country can be great again, it really can, but people need to pull their asses out of their heads and start working together for a COMPROMISE, instead of a solution. When you have two opposing sides like we do and well more than two opposing sides, the only way you’re going to come up with a SOLUTION, is a COMPROMISE. You really won’t get a solution in this case, only a compromise, and each opposing side, really has to accept that. Until then, this country is absolutely doomed. Until we can work together on compromises to make this country great again, this country, will be a HAS-BEEN and not an IS.
